1937 Indian Four cylinder Police Model In 1937, this Indian Four Cylinder was used by the Fall River Police Department. Police Departments loved the Indian 4 because of its smooth low-speed running for the long patrol shifts, and they were also easy to start. Indian Four was also commended by many police departments as being the best pursuit motorcycle available at the time.
