Washington DC Metro Police The 1971 Harley-Davidson FL sidecar rig escorted Richard M Nixon from office when he resigned in 1973. It was one of four units purchased in the spring of 1974 from Harry Jacobs of Pennsylvania. This sidecar rig was ridden in the 1988 and 2008 motorcycle runs from Newburgh to Port Jervis, commemmorating the 1908 "Boys from Newburgh" ride. Spring 1974 |
